In the myth my
beloved hammer is stolen, Mjollnir the source of many of my powers! The wicked
giant Thrym, had taken it and buried it deep underground so it would be
impossible to find. The giant would only give me my hammer if Freyja would
agree to marry him. Freyja absolutely refused to marry such a horrible
creature. So we would have to come up with some other way to get my hammer
back. Luckily for me Heimdall came up with a solution. Sorry, but I’m not going
to tell you the solution right now. Some version of the story say that Loki
stole my hammer and gave it to Thrym.

Reading the conflict of your story makes me look forward to reading the complete version. I loved how you included that you thought of a way to take the hammer back, but that you said the reader had to wait to learn more. This is a good post, I will surely be reading your completed tale.

I find it very interesting that we both seem to have beloved items that contain our power or symbolize it. Although that is the only similarity between us, for my scepter has never been stolen.
ReplyDeleteIf you keep insulting the god of war then your scepter very well might end up being stolen. Don't forget, I am friends with Loki, and I don't think he'll find it very hard to trick you into giving it up.

I find that in this instance Sekhmet is right. She has many common similarities with you and yet she has proven to be the superior of you two. I on the other hand, have only brought joy and love to my followers and do not cause trouble. I spread love not war.

I'll bet that you were furious when your hammer was stolen. If I had a hammer and it was stolen, Thrym would not have suspected that I was not Freyja. And you were dressed as a girl. Hahaha
