I am one of the most popular of all of the Norse gods. My name was the inspiration for the name of the fifth day of the week, Thursday (Thor's day). I am also a super hero in the marvel movie named after me, Thor. My name has also been used to name several places, including Thorsberg moor in Germany and Torvshavn, the capital of the Faroe Islands.. The element Thorium is also named after me.
Get over your useless bickering. I might have less art and periodic elements named after me, the all powerful and cunning Loki, but I don't end up being the fall guy for my allies... You have always reluctantly listened to me, and each time I use you as a fall guy you never learn.

And every time you trick me, I get my revenge afterwords!

Do you really get revenge? The only revenge that happened was from Odin, and that was killing my son and using his intestines as ropes to tie me until the world ended through Ragnarok.
DeleteWell, that sounds like pretty good revenge to me!

You weren't the one who dished it out...

Revenge is revenge!

That is petty, you can't even dish out revenge and you need your father to do it for you...
DeleteI don't need to do it to you because, every other god in the universe is exacting their revenge on you.
DeleteHey, I have a day of the week named after me too - Wednesday (It comes from one of my other names, Woden... Wodensday!) We Norse gods get a lot of days named after us...
ReplyDeleteYeah I think we probably have more named after us than any of those Greek, Egyptian, Chinese or Native American gods! Norse is the BEST!
ReplyDelete~Thor
For once, I agree with you Thor and Odin. Norse is the best, and no other heaven can we fight to the death, and then drink, and die again!
