One morning I woke up and reached to my side to grab my hammer. I didn’t feel it. I started grasping all of over my bed for my hammer, but it was not there. I finally awoke completely, and I was mad. “Where is my Mjollnir!” I yelled. I ran around asgard trying to find out who had taken my hammer. Then I found Loki. “Loki, where is my hammer!” Loki said he might know where it was and he flew away

Loki flew to Jotunheim, the land of the giants, and met thrym the leader. Thrym told Loki that he had taken Thor’s hammer and had hidden it deep underground where nobody would be able to find it. The only way to get him to return it was to give him freya as a bride.

Loki flew back to asgard, and told all of the gods the news. Freya refused to marry Thrym, despite my pleas. We had to get a new plan. Luckily for me Heimdall came up with a plan. Unfortunately for me I didn’t like heimdall’s plan, but there was no other way. I would have to dress up like freya and go to marry thrym.

I dressed up like freya and loki escorted me to jotunheim and presented me to thrym. He became suspicious of me when I would not talk, and he asked loki about it. “She has lost her voice, she shouted for joy, for eight days, about getting to marry you,” Loki said. Thrym believed the lie, but he became suspicious again when I ate a monstrous amount of food and ale. Again loki defended me saying, “She was so excited about being your wife that she has not eaten in eight days.” Again Thrym believed it. Then thrym saw that my eyes were red. “She has not slept in eight days, she wanted to see you so bad,” Loki lied.

Thrym fell for all of Loki’s lies and still believed that I was freya. So just before we were to be married he brought out my hammer and gave it to me for a wedding gift. As soon as I had a hold of it, I killed Thrym and then went on to kill all of the rest of the giants in the area. The End
